Week 5 Part B: Learning about Facebook Data Collecting
Post reach is important because without your post having very much reach, your post won't be seen by many people. Having good post reach means that you will have more people seeing your post. People won’t discover your post or find your page if your reach isn’t very good. Post engagement is important because the more engagement your post gets, the more people see your post. Your post's reach increases when engagement such as comments increase. People might also see all the engagement in your post and want to join in and want to leave a comment or see the post as more trustworthy if you have more engagement on your post.
From post reach, we can learn the amount of people that see your post. This is important because you can learn what increases your post's reach. By trying different things you can learn what causes more reach for your post. By doing this you can make sure that you have more and more people seeing each post. From post engagement, we can learn what you are doing right and wrong. We can see what gets the most engagement so you can keep on learning and doing things that work better and better. We can also learn what type of people find your content appealing by paying attention to your engagement. When you pay attention to the type of people that engage with your post you can learn what type of people your customers are. You can also learn how to get more people to engage with your post.
A business can use Facebook insights in many ways. Using Facebook insights can allow us to find out what type of people go to your page. You can shift your content to things that your fans are interested in. You can also find out what type of people enjoy your page. You can use the information given to you to attract people who you know will enjoy it and engage with your page. Your post reach can also be higher because you know that since people will interact with your post, your post will be able to reach more people. You can increase your engagement and increase the amount of fans you have by talking about stuff they want to hear about. You can also ask questions they want to answer. You also use Facebook insights to target the market that you want by seeing what type of people enjoy the content that you create. If the people that are in the market that you are targeting aren't following your page, you can shift your content and try different things that will attract your intended market.
